Shipping Policy

All our products are shipped in protective packaging.

Where possible, we will be using recycled boxes for our outer shipping box.

Handmade hats and hatinators are presented in a purpose made box (and then wrapped in protective wrapping).

All orders are processed within 24 hours.

Orders placed at the weekend will be dispatched on Monday. On bank holiday weekends, they will be dispatched on a Tuesday. We are not able to state delivery times as these depend on logistic as well as customs which vary for each country.

Tax, Duty and Customs

As we are not yet registered for VAT, there is none added and none included.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply for their country.

We are not responsible for delays due to customs.

Please check if and how the new Brexit shipping changes may affect you.

If you are outside of the European Trade Zone, you as the buyer are the importer and as such are responsible for paying any applicable customs duties and import taxes. Each country has its own rate so please inform yourself.

Shipping costs have been calculated using An Post Standard and Tracked shipping costs as published for March 2022 based on a parcel by weight. If your item is smaller, a packet for example, there will be a lower cost. Email us before purchasing to check the size and weight your package will be. Also you can choose if you prefer to pay a little extra and have a tracked parcel. We do recommend this as neither of us is then fretting to know the item has arrived. Either way, we appreciate that buyers drop us an email when they receive it.

Return & Exchange Policy

Items purchased from Wildly Created can be returned within 7 days for a full refund less any shipping or packaging costs provided they haven’t been worn and are in exactly the same condition as when they were sold. We cannot accept returns for items that are worn, used or items that have been washed, damaged in any way (make up, perfume, hair spray, deodorant), rain damage or otherwise altered. Removal of tags & labels will qualify the item as being worn.


Please follow the instructions below to make a return for a refund.

  1. Document in writing why you are returning the item (including date of purchase and order reference number) within 48 hours of receipt and email same to

  2. Post the item (along with the printed document referred to at No. 1 above) to the following address:
    Emma Platten, Wildly Created, 6 Riversdale Terrace, Ballinspittle, Kinsale, Co. Cork. P17 VX52.

  3. NOTE: The item must be shipped by a traceable method or shipping insurance must be purchased to guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Any taxes or duties payable on the return of the item will be payable by the customer.

  4. Upon receipt and inspection of the product, please allow 14 days after receipt for processing your refund if we are satisfied with the condition of the item.

  5. There is no exchange on custom made hats.


Terms & Conditions

  1. There is no refund on sale items or gift vouchers - credit note only.

  2. Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

  3. To be eligible for a return payment, your item must be unused and in exactly the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

  4. Please note that there is no refund or credit note on a Bespoke Hat (for example, one that has been made custom made for you).

  5. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs and any taxes & duties which may have been paid are non-refundable.
