This handmade magenta, orange and purple textile collage wall hanging is made with pure luxurious silks and is available exclusively in this shop. A carefully selected palette and choice of textures include, silk dupion, hand dyed silk and wool and recycled silk sari ribbons. I am constantly inspired by the ever changing landscapes, seascapes, sunsets, sunrises and delights of nature. Some years back I produced a range of cards which became popular and collectable. Elemental Colours combined earth, air, fire, water and metal using papier dechire techniques with tissue papers, handmade papers, threads and gilt powders. In 2020 I revisited the idea using gorgeous colourful luxurious silks with embellishments. Earth, Ocean, Desert and Fire mixed media fibre collage home décor wall artworks are now available here. These frameable nature inspired textile art pieces are mounted with a white or off white matt. Your framer should know how to best advise you the options for textile work. Each finely detailed textile collage is unique; some of the colourful silks I use are from my own stash of hand-painted pieces, the gorgeous sabra silk threads I bought from the souks in Marrakech and Fes in the ancient medinas of Morocco. Some are recycled from other projects and clothing that I made and decided to take apart and some are recycled sari silks, each has a story only known to the original wearer. Some have recycled pieces of jewellery also bought from the markets in Morocco. The ready dyed silks come from many places as I collect them when I travel. As these are handmade pieces of artwork, they are quite unique and become precious in their own right.

Shipping in Ireland and for the rest of the world is with An Post. If you require tracked shipping, there is an option at checkout.

Your textile will be dispatched in 1 - 3 working days. All textiles are shipped flat in a cellophane wrap inside a hard-backed sturdy envelope. 

***RETURN***

If you are not happy with your purchase, please carefully wrap the artwork and return it in the original package. You will need to pay the return shipping fees.

All artwork should be kept away from direct sunlight and not exposed to a steamy atmosphere or close to an air-con unit.

To protect from dust and grime it is best to frame your print as soon as possible once you receive it.
