Dublin blue and white handmade kanzashi flower with a blue diamante cabachon and silver metal filigree on a matching aliceband.

The Japanese term kanzashi refers to a wide variety of accessories. These include long rigid hairpins, fabric flowers and fabric hair ties. A Tsumami Kanzashi flower can have as many as 100 petals or perhaps more, each created individually from small squares of ribbon, organza, silk or similar fabric. The piece is then assembled petal by petal to create stunning flowers. Emma has leant this technique and now creates one of a kind headbands, brooches, clips and shoe clips to add that something special to your outfit.

If you are having an outfit made by a dressmaker, we can use some of the same fabric to include in your accessory.

***CARE OF YOUR PURCHASE***

This is a fabric headpiece and should be kept dry. Excessive exposure to direct sunlight may damage the fibres over time. When not in use, it is best kept in its box unless you wish to use it as an ornamental piece.

All our products are ready to ship. As genuine craftswomen and artisans, all our items are lovingly handmade from start to finish, so no two hats will ever be exactly the same, ensuring you receive a unique piece of art! They are NOT covered cheap hat bases, but handmade using our own designed paper patterns, materials and techniques. Every pattern piece is cut out and put together by hand.

All our products are shipped in protective packaging. Our headpieces are presented in a suitable box (and then wrapped in protective wrapping).

All orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours. Orders placed at the weekend will be dispatched on Monday.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. Please check if and how the Brexit shipping changes may affect you.
